Mom Fashion Decoded: My Everyday Style Tips | Fashion for Moms Made Easy
Hey moms!
I’m Sadvika, and just like you, I’m juggling parenting, work, home, and everything in between. And let me tell you—just because we’re always on the move doesn’t mean we can’t feel stylish doing it!
On my Instagram @sadvikakylash, I love sharing bits of my everyday fashion—simple, relatable, and mom-approved. So today on momlifeandlifestyle.com, I’m decoding what fashion for moms looks like—real, comfortable, and full of YOU.
Here is something you can check the list off
1. Comfort Is My First Style Rule
Let’s be honest—if it’s not comfy, I’m not wearing it. Most of my wardrobe includes soft tees, high-waist joggers, maxi dresses, and co-ords that let me move freely (and still look cute!).
I often get asked about my school drop-off looks on Instagram. The secret? Please keep it simple, breathable, and easy to layer!
Quick tip: White sneakers + joggers + a loose tee = effortless mom style.
2. Layers Change the Game
I love layering because it instantly upgrades a basic outfit. Whether it’s a shrug, scarf, or even a casual longline shirt left unbuttoned, layering adds depth and a pop of personality.
I often share these looks on my Reels—they’re quick, cozy, and chic without trying too hard.
Try this: A pastel shrug over your favorite kurti or a bold scarf with your everyday jeans can make all the difference.
3. Accessories Save the Day
Some days I just throw my hair up in a messy bun and add big hoops or a cute hairband—and boom! I feel put together.
Accessories are my go-to when I need a little pick-me-up, especially on those long, chaotic mom days.
From bindis to backpacks, I love mixing practicality with personal style. And if you follow me on IG, you know how often I talk about this!
4. Decode Your Closet – Don’t Overthink It
You don’t need a new wardrobe to feel fashionable. Trust me, half my outfits are repeat pieces styled in new ways. I like organizing my clothes into ready-to-go combos—especially on busy mornings when I have 5 minutes to get dressed.
My mantra: Fashion doesn’t have to be fancy, just well put together.
And yes, I always keep a “feel-good outfit” ready for those low-energy days—it works wonders for my mood!
5. Fashion for Moms Is Real Fashion
I truly believe that mom fashion is beautiful because it’s real. We’re not dressing up for the ‘gram, we’re dressing up for life—school runs, market visits, meetings, and everything else we do.
And that’s exactly what I aim to show in my decode fashion series on Instagram—real moms, real fashion.
So, mama, here’s your reminder: Mom Fashion Decoded
You can look good, feel good, and still be that multitasking powerhouse you are! Fashion doesn’t have to be complicated—it just needs to reflect YOU.
