The Zero Day.
The story starts with a massive child pornography racket busting operation. This story is run by two amazing men in power, Vikrant Sing and Shaswaz Ali Mirza, and their tech buddies whom they can rely on Deo.
They had caught one of the men involved and we’re getting him to interrogation then happened the blackout of all the traffic signals in the city! This is where the main story starts to develop. And a cyberattack was declared among the top officials.
Mizra, who was the head of the Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad received an email from Muntaqim, who has claimed the responsibility for the traffic signals blackout which he called a DDoS attack (Distributed Denial of Services)
The men in power jump into action and put together their team of Mizra, Vikrant, and Major Shaina Varma. Deo, the main with hacking and tech put in all his efforts to get hold of him and try to catfish him into their plan.
As a press was released that the traffic signals were a technical issue and were resolved. The hacker, Muntaqim was so angry that government choose to hind that fact and cover it as a random glitch. To prove them wrong he again hacked into the system and this time it was Mumbai’s lifeline, Railways!
Since then, these men work their way out to get hold of the hacker and realized that he was way more information at his disposal, and they discovered the Zero Day vulnerability in the Indian Government. In Zero Day, Mirza and Vikranth happen to face the dangerous attack of their lives.
It is amazing to see, that India has some fine hackers who went all the way out and achieved by getting Muntaqim to his knees. The past story of the hacker was also mentioned as his reasons for carrying out the attack.
