The first few months were good and hectic but the kids were mostly sleeping so I had time to do the house chores and have a little bit of time to myself after my husband goes to work. But as later on as kids started to roll and move forward, I had a hard time being with them.
I was alone to do the house chores and I was not getting any time for myself. Kids were crying all the time if they are sick. I was screaming for help from inside. I wanted someone to talk to and share how I feel. How I needed help.
My husband has to go to work, while my parents and in-laws live in a different city. Where do I go, and whom do I share with? I was being very disturbed since then. My husband noticed for a few days and then finally asked.

As he got to know how I wanted some help emotionally, he made sure he is there with me. We eventually divided the work that morning he would do a little of the housework and make breakfast for both of us while I get to sleep a bit along with the kids.
And once he is off to the office, I would start preparing lunch and other house chores where he left them. This has helped me a lot. I sometimes feel that talking out to our partner is the best solution, ever.

This is a simple fiction story about how small things matters for Mental Health. How talking to your partner about how you feel comes to rescue us from being further drowning in depression.
In this series, I would write about more such fiction stories in which small elements would help the character into a better state of mind.
