Blogging and my journeyBlogging and my journey

Hey guys, it’s been a while since I wrote something about myself and BlogChatter has this amazing #BlogChatterHalfMarathon where we are given few themes that revolved around You! And I thought why not use this as an opportunity and tell my readers about “Blogging it is, and why did I choose.”

From being very shy during the staring years of college, I was always the silent one. And taking up Journalism was such a turning point for me. As this graduation need everyone to speak up! It took a while for me to get out of my comfort zone of not speaking in public.

Why Blogging?

Well, despite trying very hard I used to get really nervous and thus restrained myself from public speaking. Later on, I discovered that I could communicate through writings. And thus, blogging happened. Blogging was my perfect way to tell stories, communicate and convey my views.

When did it start?

I guess, back in 2009. In the first year of my Graduation in Journalism. As I have mentioned, it was my chosen path to convey or rather simply Talk! My first blog was www.sadvikaa@blogspot.com I did not write on a specific topic or niche just some random topics I wrote.

My second blogging website was www.sadvikakylash@wordpress.com in 2013 Here I experimented with different niche’s ranging from News, Feature writing, tech. I became a mom in 2016 and then after almost in 2018 I wrote about Motherhood and my most loved article is Happiness, you come to me and I shall wait.

This was the turning point. I started taking part in various blogging challenges and happen to take the blogging journey to a whole new level. A few blogging challenges in this website and I realized I wanted my own website to take this passion to career.

In 2019, www.momlifeandlifestyle.com came into existence and thereafter there is no looking back.

In my next post, I would love to discuss why did I choose Momlifeandlifestyle as my website name. stay tune!

  1. Yeah, blogging has a kind of attachment with you keeps a warm relationship with you. Your blog growth was interesting to read. I joined the blog in 2006, you become the publisher straightaway sounded charming then. Anyway, I couldn’t get those expectations fulfilled, and my creative interest pushed me to carry on. Since I joined Blogchatter this year, I got a purpose in blogging and soon got my blogs organised. I wrote on many topics, which I soon classified under three blogs. Not yet set a website; soon, I will do that.
